Day-Timer Task Sync Plug-In
Preparation/App Installation
- Before visiting the Day-Timer website to download your Outlook Task plug-in, please install your Day-Timer Plan2Go app onto your phone. You may find us in either the iPhone App Store, the Android Market or the Windows Phone Marketplace.
- Please make sure that Outlook is completely closed before continuing from this point. To do so, go to File -> Exit. Note that clicking the close buttion in the upper right hand corner does not always close Outlook, instead it hides it in your system tray. Using File -> Exit is important.
- Next click the download button on the right. If you are running Internet Explorer a pop-up will appear prompting you to run or save the program. Click Run. If you are running any other browser you will need to save the file DaytimerAddinSetup.msi to a place on your computer and run it from there.
- Open Outlook and you will first be provided with our User Notice Agreement, please review and if you agree with it click Accept.
- The Second screen will prompt you for your name and password. Enter in any name and password you would like and make sure to record it, as you will need it later in these steps. When you are done press enter.
- If you are using our iPhone app: On your iPhone go to your iPhones settings page (found on your home screen) and scroll down until you see our Day-Timer Logo. Tap it and then enter the same username and password you entered into the Outlook Plug-In
- If you are using Android: Open our app and tap the Settings tab. Scroll down and tap Outlook Task Sync. Enter the same username and password you entered into the Outlook Plug-In.
- If you are using Windows Phone: Open our app and flick left or right until you see the "Settings" page. Scroll down until you see the "Sync settings" section of the page. There you need to enter the same username and password you entered into the Outlook Plug-In.
